Description Marcel 2015-06-06 11:13:30 UTC
Description of problem:
In KDE Plasma the Network Monitor widget causes a high cpu usage.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
plasma-desktop-5.3.0-6.fc22
plasma-workspace-5.3.0-8.fc22

How reproducible:
Every time you have the Network Monitor Widget on the desktop.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add the Network Monitor Widget to the Desktop
2.
3.

Actual results:
kdeinit5 uses about 20 to 50 % of the cpu.

Expected results:
The CPU usage should not raise that high. In fact, this does not happen when using other widgets (i tested a few, but not all).

Additional info:
I do not know if plasma-workspace is the right component, change it if you know the exact package to which the Plasma Widgets belong.
