oVirt gerrit 43084 master MERGED packaging: spec: handle dependencies Never
oVirt gerrit 43099 master ABANDONED packaging: setup: use otopi packager for gluster Never
oVirt gerrit 43417 master MERGED packaging: setup: enable HC only if requirements are met Never

Description Sandro Bonazzola 2015-06-29 06:53:20 UTC
hosted-engine must not require vdsm-gluster and gluster-server since they require a specific channel to be enabled for having them available on RHEL.

Add a descriptive text to the setup in order to give information on how to get gluster rpms if not available.

Also disable HC support on RHEV-H where no gluster-server is available and no additional channel can be enabled.

Comment 1 Yaniv Lavi 2015-06-29 07:19:51 UTC
Adding a message saying that required packages are missing should be enough to cover this. Note that this is a downstream only change.
