dso_list contains the proprietary nvidia driver.
See also bug #1261658, where a crash with a similar backtrace appeared only after installing the proprietary driver.
(In reply to Kevin Kofler from comment #15) > dso_list contains the proprietary nvidia driver. So what if the dso list contains nvidia! The backtrace itself doesn't mention nvidia, if it did there would be missing debug symbols.
It means we cannot debug or reproduce the issue further. If anyone can reproduce without nvidia, great, please re-open.
for posterity, here's some helpful advice on how to report issues to nvidia, https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/522835/linux/if-you-have-a-problem-please-read-this-first/
> So what if the dso list contains nvidia! > The backtrace itself doesn't mention nvidia, if it did there would be missing debug symbols. As I already wrote in comment #16: See also bug #1261658, where a crash with a similar backtrace appeared only after installing the proprietary driver. I'll also point out that the crash is in an X11 function: QXcbConnection::~QXcbConnection() at qxcbconnection.cpp:460 so not unrelated to the driver. And finally, IMHO, it cannot be upon us to prove that the problem is driver-specific, but the burden of proof needs to be on those who opt to use a driver that is explicitly unsupported. If you can reproduce the crash without the proprietary driver, you can report it. Any reports tainted by proprietary drivers will be closed immediately.

Then why did the bug appear for the reporter of bug #1261658 only after installing the proprietary driver? And why are the ONLY reports of this issue with the proprietary nvidia driver? All evidence points to the driver.
