Description Chris Roberts 2015-07-05 19:04:52 UTC
As an UI user i like to select multiple packages from a list to update.
At the moment you can only update packages if they have an errata attached.

We are mirroring some external repositories and most of them are without erratas. We would need to create errata manually for every updated package in our repos.

Also, some of our own rpm packages are created by other groups within the company and at the moment they can upload them to a Satellite channel.
none of the packages have erratas attached to them.

This functionality was available in Satellite 5 as is a possible adoption blocker for Satellite 6.

1. What is feature requirement justification ?

2. Do you have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would they like to target?
Yes, we can't migrate already deployed systems to Satellite 6 without this functionality.
It should have been in from the beginning and we expect this asap.

3. Would you be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?
Yes, we love to test Red Hat beta software... ;)
