+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1208888 +++ Description of problem: When using the clearlooks-phenix theme tooltips in Firefox have a transparent background which makes them almost unreadable. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): clearlooks-phenix-gtk3-theme-6.0.3-1.fc22.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the clearlooks-phenix theme and enable it (I used the Xfce Theme Manager) 2. Make sure firefox 37 is installed 3. (Re)Start firefox 4. Move the mouse-cursor on an inactive tab, this causes a tooltip to show up Actual results: The tooltip shows up with a transparent background which makes it almost unreadable Expected results: The tooltip should have a non-transparent background Additional info: This issue has already been fixed in the greybird and zukitwo themes
Not sure if the problem is the same as for other themes, as I see the following in the /usr/share/themes/Clearlooks-Phenix/gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets.css file: .tooltip * { background-color: transparent; } Commenting that out fixes the Firefox tooltip transparency.
clearlooks-phenix-6.0.3-3.fc22 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 22. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-14198
