From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031016 Description of problem: Whether setting a static or using dhcp, attempting to set up installation via telnet breaks at the point a telnet connection is made to the machine where the installation is to be done. Now that I have speech running for the installer, I can report the error that is displayed in Console 3. There's no /dev/ttyp0 to receive the telnet connection. So, installing via telnet remains broken. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to install via static or dhcp aquired IP 2. Get speech reader functioning in installer 3. Observe screen 3 output Actual Results: screen shows error There's no /dev/ttyp0 to receive the telnet connection. Expected Results: Expected to be able to install Fedora Core 2 via telnet Additional info: This bug is submitted via observing posts from the fedora-test list. Due to the large nunber of bug reports submitted, using lynx to navigate through bugzilla was not feasable.
