Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2016:2139 normal SHIPPED_LIVE java-1.8.0-openjdk bug fix and enhancement update 2016-11-03 09:12:04 EDT

  None (edit)
Description Andrew John Hughes 2015-07-22 16:45:38 EDT
This is a clone of bug 1208307 which makes the same change on RHEL 6.

It follows bug 1121210 which added elliptic curve cryptography support in OpenJDK 7 for RHEL 7.2.
Comment 5 John Horne 2016-07-04 10:51:29 EDT
Can I ask what is happening with this bug fix?
It says it is fixed in version java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.72-4.b15.el7 but we are already on version java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.91-1.b14.el7_2 and ECC is still disabled.
Comment 6 Andrew John Hughes 2016-07-04 11:11:33 EDT
The fix is scheduled for release in RHEL 7.3.

java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.72-4.b15.el7 is a RHEL 7.3 RPM.
java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.91-1.b14.el7_2 is a RHEL 7.2 RPM.
