Description Paul DeStefano 2015-07-27 02:54:35 UTC
Description of problem:
Unknown kernel error. I'm having problems with USB and trying to get to the bottom of it.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-4.0.8-300.fc22.x86_64

How reproducible:
I haven't found the event that corresponds to these errors. These just stand out because I have other USB problems and I could use some help tracking down the cause of this error.

That said, I was using my web-cam with Skype at around the time this error occurred. I tried to reproduce by checking my Skype video configuration and making a test call, but the error did not recur.

Additional Information:
See bug 901737. Also, I see a patch to suppress these messages has existed since 2013; could this be an regression?

This looks similar to https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/7/18/72 . Once that patch hits the maintainer's tree we can look to pull it in.

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 22 kernel bugs.

Fedora 22 has now been rebased to 4.2.3-200.fc22. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 23, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 23.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
