Description of problem:
After pressing the Enter key after being shown the Fedora Core 2 splash screen, anaconda starts unpacking vmlinuz and initrd.img after which it briefly diplays Ready for a split second and immediately reboots the system.

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the installer, from CD, and press Enter at the splash screen.

Actual Results:  System reboots itself.

Expected Results:  Anaconda installing Fedora Core on machine.

Additional info:

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 with HT.
RAM: 1024MB
Fedora Core 2 installation.

Is this an Asus P4P800 motherboard by any chance ?

Yes, it is the Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard.
