Description Anjana Suparna Sriram 2016-03-23 08:13:02 UTC
Section Number and Name: 7.2.3.3.2. Configuring the HA Cluster of RHGS Admin Guide needs an update.

Presently, when we are executing the command "gluster nfs-ganesha disable", the disable of nfs-ganesha cluster starts working. Now, with 3.1.3, users will have the option prompting "yes or no" for going ahead with the disable mechanism.

Comment 5 Shashank Raj 2016-06-05 17:29:02 UTC
The doc link in comment 2 is not opening. Can we have the correct doc link to verify this bug?

Comment 7 Shashank Raj 2016-06-06 06:41:31 UTC
The doc mentioned in comment 6 is not updated with the details as mentioned in bug description and in comment 2.

See below:

Under section 7.2.4.3.2. Configuring the HA Cluster

To tear down the HA cluster, execute the following command:

# gluster nfs-ganesha disable

For example,

# gluster nfs-ganesha disable
This will take a few minutes to complete. Please wait ..
nfs-ganesha : success

still it doesn't show the correct output as it should.

Moving it back to assigned state.

Comment 10 Shashank Raj 2016-06-07 07:39:47 UTC
Verified this bug with the latest doc provided and the content looks good now.

To tear down the HA cluster, execute the following command:

# gluster nfs-ganesha disable

For example,

# gluster nfs-ganesha disable
Disabling NFS-Ganesha will tear down entire ganesha cluster across the trusted pool. Do you still want to continue?
(y/n) y
This will take a few minutes to complete. Please wait ..
nfs-ganesha : success

As the above description is giving the option of (y/n) and ask for a user input, this is as its expected.

based on the above observation, marking this bug as Verified.
