Description of problem: Battery Power does not display in the Gnome System Power Settings. Mouse battery does show Neither of these shows on the right top corner dropdown Usually (Fedora23 and earlier versions) For the dropdown we had Sound 0-->100%, Wired Connection Battery (eg Estimating or presented with value) User Logon ID and then the icons to invoke ALL SETTINGS' LOCK, PowerOff/Reboot. All APC/ UPS updates were included before writing this bug. This is a Fedora problem and not a Gnome only problem. It is not being presented with Fedora 24 xfce (which does not use Wayland or Gnome 3.x It may be a bug with Gnome2, which is the same as that from Fedora23. One can't run Fedora as a server if the UPS battery support and information is not available. A crash due to UPS powerfailure may fully damage the file system, making recovery precarious at best.
Fedora 24 command line upower -d does not show the APC UPS. Fedora 23 does show it and as well, my system's power supply.
