This bug did not make the OSP 8.0 release. It is being deferred to OSP 10.
That redhat pastebin link is now empty/expired. Here's an excerpt from the attached nova logs with an example traceback. http://paste.openstack.org/show/585660/
Retargeting back to OSP 8 zstream. It's possible that the cloned bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1385084), a neutronclient backport will resolve this issue. I don't have a full understanding of this RHBZ so I'm leaving it open for now.

Intel is blocked installing OSP 8 due to this defect (original Intel report: BZ 390054). Is there plan to resolve this issue in a z-stream? Is there a workaround?
It looks like Assaf is working on this bug here: 404 in nova-api Unexpected exception in API method https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1385084 Which is also a duplicate of: Unexpected exception in API method The resource could not be found https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1390054 Perhaps Assaf could provide a status update? Thanks!
Is there any update on this? Intel has been blocked for a month (we filed 1390054 EO October) and there isn't any sign of movement.

This fix is incorporated in python-neutronclient-3.1.0-3.el7ost
What steps does the user need to take to use the updated package? As per the original BZ: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Follow instructions as given in https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/8/paged/director-installation-and-usage/ to install Director 2. Go through successful introspection process 3. Follow the instructions to install Overcloud deployment after modifying the templates accordingly Is there a way to update the package during the install? Is that necessary?

Hi Robert, if you wish to get a hotfix for bug 1385084, you should ask for it on that bug.
