Customer description of issue: ============================= Problem Statement: ------------------ system log flooded with "avahi-daemon[976]: Invalid response packet from host <ip>" Description ------------ system log flooded with "avahi-daemon[976]: Invalid response packet from host <ip>" Where are you experiencing the behavior? What environment? We see the avahi-daemon service running on both redhat 5 and 6 server, We are receiving log error with "avahi-daemon[976]: Invalid response packet from host <ip>". What information can you provide around timeframes and urgency? Please provide the fix for the given log error Notes: ------- This issue is associated to bugs already open for both RHEL 5 & RHEL 7. This can be easily fixed similarly as we did in RHEL7. Note that in RHEL7 we delivered fix for this issue via z-stream. Since it is too late for RHEL-6.8 I am adjusting flags accordingly.
