Created attachment 1159978 [details] build.log of F24 scratch build of mmseq mmseq doesn't build, maybe since armadillo was updated from 5.600 to 6.500 g++ -DVERSION=1.0.8 -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Werror=format-security -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fexceptions -fstack-protector-strong --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -grecord-gcc-switches -specs=/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/redhat-hardened-cc1 -m64 -mtune=generic -fopenmp -O2 bms.cpp bms.hpp -c bms.cpp In file included from /usr/include/armadillo:84:0, from bms.hpp:34, from bms.cpp:21: /usr/include/armadillo_bits/include_superlu.hpp:91:53: fatal error: /usr/include/SuperLU43/supermatrix.h: No such file or directory #include ARMA_INCFILE_WRAP(ARMA_SLU_SUPERMATRIX_H) ^ compilation terminated. It seems to be missing: BuildRequires: SuperLU43-devel
I've added that new BuildRequires but there are still problems with the new Boost. I'll report them upstream.
It builds OK for me in rawhide with that BuildRequires. The build failure in F24 looks like Bug 1331983, not an upstream problem. That should be solved by the Boost update that's currently in updates-testing, boost-1.60.0-5.fc24 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-ce03854337 There's an active buildroot override for that: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/overrides/boost-1.60.0-5.fc24 So if you're seeing failures in a local mock build you need to use a custom mock config to get that override, or just build in koji which uses the override. It builds fine if I do that.
Or just use --enablerepo=updates-testing This works for me: mock -r fedora-24-x86_64 --enablerepo=updates-testing --rebuild mmseq-1.0.8a-13.fc24.src.rpm The boost update is being pushed to stable so should land soon anyway.
