Created attachment 1162415 [details] p2v_on_host Description of problem: Multiple network ports will not be aligned at p2v client Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): virt-p2v-1.32.4-1.el7.iso How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot the source machine into p2v client via iso 2.Input the ip and password of conversion server 3.At the inputting conversion info interface, check the network info at Network Interfaces 4.After checking, found the emulex ports which belongs to Emulex iscsi OCe11102-IM 10Gb card are not aligned with other network ports, pls refer to screenshot"p2v_on_host" 5.I also try to reproduce the problem on a guest which has multiple network, the network ports also not be aligned.pls refer to screenshot"p2v_on_guest" Actual results: As above description Expected results: Although it is a small problem. it looks not neat. Aligning the network ports is better Additional info: The problem also exists on virt-p2v-1.28.1-1.51.3.el7.1

Fix sent upstream: https://github.com/libguestfs/libguestfs/commit/a90343f1e9daf2d4cc8dd34a80521bc1e1b0eddd (I fixed a few other alignment issues of the same sort).
Can't build the live CD because of bug 1340596.
I can reproduce it with build: virt-p2v-1.32.4-1.el7.iso Verify it with build virt-p2v-1.32.5-2.el7.iso Setup: Make sure the machine has multiple network(at least 4) with different model For this testing is: rtl8139 and e1000 Steps: 1.Boot the source machine into p2v client via iso 2.Input the correct ip and password of conversion server 3.At the inputting conversion info interface, check the network info at Network Interfaces 4.After checking, all network port is aligned well As above result, the bug has been fixed. So move it to VERIFIED
Try verify with new build again and add more steps: virt-p2v-1.32.5-6.el7.iso Setup: Scenario-1 Test with a virtual machine with at least 4 nics:2 rtl8139 + 1 virtio + 1 e1000 Steps: 1. Add p2v iso file to guest then let guest boot from cdrom. 2. After virt-p2v client window pop up 3. Input the correct ip and password of conversion server 4. At the inputting conversion info interface, check the network info at Network Interfaces 5. After checking, all network port is aligned well. Scenario-2 Test with a physical machine which have several networks 1.Boot the source machine into p2v client via iso 2.Input the ip and password of conversion server 3.At the inputting conversion info interface, check the network info at Network Interfaces 4.After checking, all network port is aligned well. So keep this it in VERIFIED status.
