That bug 1339742 says it is fixed, but I still cannot install Mate-desktop in Fedora 24... What is the answer?
Tried again to install @mate-desktop from Fedora 24 Server with same failure. Then tried with the dnf suggested --allowerasing option. Still says mate-desktop is already installed. If nothing else, this is false and a bug in dnf because nothing from mate-desktop was installed. I then dnf remove @mate-desktop. dnf says no packages marked for removal... then start from scratch with dnf --allowerasing install @mate-desktop and now it works but with several packages marked for downgrade.
