Description Phil Hannent 2004-10-04 10:50:34 EDT
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3)
Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.8

Description of problem:
Same problem as Bug 124313 my Acer Aspire laptop has a built in 8 in 1
card reader.

http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=124313

There needs to be an entry for "CardReader" in updfstab.conf.default.

kudzu reports:
 class: HD
 bus: SCSI
 detached: 0
 device: sda
 driver: ignore
 desc: "Usb2 CardReader Combo"
 host: 1
 id: 0
 channel: 0
 lun: 0
 generic: sg1

Having the following automatically adds the slot to the list:

device flash {
    partition 1
    match   hd CardReader
}

At this point, there probably won't be an update for FC2 to just fix
this. In FC3 and later, we use HAL and gnome-volume-manager for
automounting, so the process is different. This particular entry was
added in hwdata-0.123-1, FWIW.
