Description of problem:
This system was just updated from Fedora 23 to Fedora 24. After logging into the gnome3 desktop, it seems Xorg will randomly switch back to one of the other VTs. It looks like gnome crashed during one of these. This system has an nvidia card with the rpmfusion provided nvidia proprietary drivers.
