Issue present with RHEVM 4.0.2.4-0.1 with locale=en_US in engine 4.1 found these not proper localized events General Host Events: HOST_UPDATES_ARE_AVAILABLE_WITH_PACKAGES Gluster Volume Events: GLUSTER_VOLUME_REBALANCE_START_DETECTED_FROM_CLI START_REMOVING_GLUSTER_VOLUME_BRICKS_DETECTED_FROM_CLI in ovirt-engine-4.1.0-0.0.master.20161201071307.gita5ff876.el7.centos.noarch Moving back to MODIFIED as it missed 4.1.1.2 build Checked with 4.1.1.4-0.1.el7 The string is still in English only. Moving it back to assigned. Target release should be placed once a package build is known to fix a issue. Since this bug is not modified, the target version has been reset. Please use target milestone to plan a fix for a oVirt release. We don't have any influence when a real translation is pushed, we just performed the code changes to allow translation. Checked with 4.1.2.2-0.1.el7 The tool-tips are no localized. Strings not found in Zanata. May be we need to wait till 4.2 for the translation cycle. Changing it to assigned atm. Target release should be placed once a package build is known to fix a issue. Targeting to 4.2, as we don't have translation cycles for z-streams Checked with Version:4.2.0.2-0.1.el7 Following translations are not available in Zanata for ja, zh_CN and de. Available for rest of the locales. None available in the UI. Hi Bhushan, As you can see from our JIRA you have been a watcher, we are in the translation cycle #2, which is due to be completed by 17 Jan. Translations for some languages are completed but others are not, including Japanese. You can test it again after we completed the translations in all langs, the translations are pulled into the code repo and included in a build. Sure Yuko, thanks for the confirmation. So I'll assign it to you at the moment for translation completeness. Once translation cycle is completed, you can assign it to the relevant person from RHV team for further tasks. Hi Bhushan, Translation cycle #2 has been completed and I requested Scott Dickerson to pull it from Zanata. I don't think this bug needs to be assigned to the engineering team. This can be verified on the build we will be using for I18n/L10n QA event. Moving to ON_QA based on comment 18 Checked with 4.2.2.1-0.1.el7. Looks fine now for ja, de and zh_CN. This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.2 release, published on March 28th 2018. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.2.2 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
Created attachment 1180101 [details] ja_JP_events Description of problem: As per the translator's comment in tcms, following are listed as event names instead of messages in "Add Event Notification" dialog: GLUSTER_VOLUME_REBALANCE_START_DETECTED_FROM_CLI START_REMOVING_GLUSTER_VOLUME_BRICKS_DETECTED_FROM_CLI Please refer attached screenshot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager バージョン: 4.0.2-0.2.rc1.el7ev How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. login with ja_JP locale 2. go to users->event notifier->manage events screen 3. observe events under gluster volume events.
