Description of problem:
The line enabled_metadata=1 is not recognized by DNF or by YUM. According to planned changes in upstream of DNF the unrecognized options in conf or repo will be not ignored anymore. We were unable to discover any usefulness of the line. Please, can you remove the line from .repo files?

AFAIK this is used by gnome-software. It will somehow (I'm not using it personally) offer for installation even SW from disabled repository. I assume that if user enable to install it, it must agree with enabling that repository.

Are you sure that it is really used by any software? The fedora repos can live without it therefore the question is why copr not?
