Comment 1 Kevin Fenzi 2016-08-30 16:33:29 UTC
Can you file this upstream at bugzilla.xfce.org ?

Or would you like me to do so?

Workaround should be:

GDK_BACKEND=x11 parole

Comment 2 Gwyn Ciesla 2016-08-30 16:36:41 UTC
Done.

https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12798

Comment 3 Gwyn Ciesla 2016-11-15 17:30:33 UTC
Just upgraded to f25, still seeing this.

Comment 4 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2017-01-29 10:30:46 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 5 Michael DePaulo 2017-06-11 13:03:49 UTC
1. This bug is still present on F26.

2. I did a test build of 0.9.2 (the latest release) and it did not resolve it.

3. Neither did the latest on the master branch.

Comment 6 Mukundan Ragavan 2017-06-14 00:46:06 UTC

Does the workaround in comment #1 work?

Comment 7 Gwyn Ciesla 2017-06-14 16:08:32 UTC
As of inkscape-0.92.1-4.20170510bzr15686.fc26, for me, the workaround is no longer needed.

Comment 8 Kevin Fenzi 2017-06-14 20:28:04 UTC
inkscape? This one was about parole... ;)

Comment 9 Gwyn Ciesla 2017-06-14 21:34:15 UTC

> inkscape? This one was about parole... ;)

Oh, dear. E_COFFEE. Carry on. :) parole is still FUBAR on Wayland.

*** Bug 1465808 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Comment 11 Fedora End Of Life 2017-07-25 22:45:20 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version'
of '24'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 24 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 13 Fedora End Of Life 2018-05-29 11:47:53 UTC
Fedora 26 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2018-05-29. Fedora 26
is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this
bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
