Errata not visible by "yum updateinfo" on Red Hat Satellite 6.2 clients

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Red Hat satellite 6.2/6.2.1, have the repository synced.
2. Register client with satellite
3. Execute "yum updateinfo" with or without additional options.

Actual results:
Do not show errata info.

Additional info:
- The updateinfo size seems pretty low i.e ".93 B". Probably it is not getting update on satellite and hence client not able to get errata information.

- tried re-sync repo and republished content view
- tried tweaking release version and content view of content host profile
- tried regenerating metadata for repository manually

I am not able to reproduce this.  Do we have an internal reproducer?:

Case 01718886 opened with sos and foreman-debug. If you need other data let me know (directly or indirectly).  This might be linked to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1377725 as well? 
I also opened a separate case  (01718886) for errata not appearing after a repo sync.

Would someone that is able to reproduce this be able to check the updateinfo.xml file in the RHEL repository that satellite is generating and upload that to this bz?

I'm thinking something must be wrong w/ the number of updateinfo.xml.gz files in this location?   Will attach one of the .gz's if you need it, but I don't see a link for updateinfo.xml.gz to one of these files.

This is probably a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1383463

You can confirm this by looking at the mtime for the updateinfo file that is listed in repomd.xml, and compare it with the mtime of one of the other updateinfo files that appears to have the content you would expect.

You can run this command in the repodata directory to see the mtimes sorted:

stat -c '%y %n' *-updateinfo.xml.gz | sort
