I have nfs-utils-1.3.4-1.rc2.fc24.x86_64 installed. But the first changelog entry says: - Updated to the latest RC release: nfs-utils-1-3-5-rc2 (bz 1369714) According to the versioning guidelines for prerelease packages, the proper version to use would be 1.3.5-0.X.rc2 where X is an integer you increase with each build or update. When 1.3.5 actually comes out, you can then use a release value >= 1: 1.3.5-1 and so on. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Versioning https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Versioning#Pre-Release_packages Not a big deal, but I was confused for a bit as to which sources we were actually using.
