Description of problem:
For some reason I see a spinner instead of "custom os" icon. The same problem can be seen e.g. in bug 1377604. However, Petr Schindler sees a different icon, not a spinner. I have no idea what can explain the difference.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mediawriter-3.96.0-0.fc25.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run mediawriter
2. see spinner near "custom os"

Comment 1 Martin Bříza 2016-09-20 11:25:36 UTC
I saw it in the other report too and was a bit surprised. Seems svg support is broken. I'll just convert the icon to png.

Comment 2 Kamil Páral 2016-09-20 13:23:13 UTC
It seems no svg icon is included:

$ rpm -ql mediawriter | grep icon
/usr/share/icons/hicolor
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/192x192
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/192x192/mediawriter.png

However, I'm not sure why the 192x192 version of the png icon is not used. It renders fine, and the desktop file seems to be OK as well:

$ grep Icon /usr/share/applications/mediawriter.desktop
Icon=mediawriter

Comment 3 Martin Bříza 2016-09-20 13:24:26 UTC
This bug is related to the "custom OS" icon inside the application. This icon is not installed to the filesystem directly - it is included inside the application binary using the Qt QRC system.

Ugh, sorry, I mixed this up with bug 1377627.
