Description Mike Christie 2016-10-19 18:10:05 UTC
Description of problem:

For manual setup, the ceph iscsi target initialization races with multipathd setup, so you can end up with some missing luns during gw node reboot.

This does not occur with ansible based setup, because it does not use the normal target systemd init process for target setup.

Mike, do you think this will still be an issue w/ the new iSCSI approach? I am assuming not but wanted to double-check on this one.

Comment 5 Mike Christie 2017-01-04 21:37:29 UTC
Closing. Implementation in 2.2 will not use dm-multipath on the gw side, so this bz does not apply.
