Description Christian Jung 2016-11-05 12:40:08 UTC
Description of problem:
When you create a custom button, e.g. on a Virtual Machine object, with a Dialog associated, after submitting the dialog, the Services, Requests queue is shown.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a custom button with a dialog
2.click on the custom button (e.g. on a VM object)
3.fill in the dialog and click on submit

Actual results:
UI redirects to Services, Requests view - but nothing is showing up in the request queue

Expected results:
two options:
1) Request queue is shown, but you will actually see some activity (similar to provisioning for example)
OR
2) the original view is shown (in my example above the VM object)

Additional info:
Option 1) would be preferred so users can actually see how the click of the button is executed in the backend and can see when the activity was completed.
