Description Casey Bodley 2016-12-20 19:22:10 UTC
Multisite sync is based on logs of data and metadata changes, which will continue to grow over time. Log entries should be trimmed periodically once it can be proved that no other zone will need to read them.

Comment 6 Matt Benjamin (redhat) 2017-04-04 17:13:56 UTC
Data log Trimming has landed, it is now tracked at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438895

This RFE remains open to track metadata log and bucket index trimming.

Comment 16 Vidushi Mishra 2017-11-07 05:56:17 UTC
This feature is verified for ceph version 12.2.1-37.el7cp.
