Comment 12 Ambarish 2017-08-06 06:26:47 UTC
*Setup* : 1*(4+2) created on 6 servers.Each brick is a RAID 6 Device.

*Test* : iozone -C -w -c -e -i 0 -+n -r 64k -s 8g -t 8 // 8 iozone writers from 1 client.

*Access Protocol* : FUSE

On 3.1.3 : 281985.58 kB/sec

On 3.3 latest Downtream bits,3.8.4-37 : 746784.98 kB/sec

Seeing considerable improvement ,consistent with what Manoj saw upstream in his tests.

I am moving this BZ to Verified.

Full fledged testing of EC over RAID 6 will be carried out in a future release, due to lack of cycles in the current one.
