Description contactopublico57 2017-03-01 20:23:18 UTC
Description of problem: kernel update disables networking functionality

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kernel-core-4.11.0-0.rc0.git5.1.fc26.x86_64 and related files with same version

How reproducible: install kernel-core-4.11.0-0.rc0.git5.1.fc26.x86_64 update via dnf

Steps to Reproduce:
1.sudo dnf update (included kernel-core-4.11.0-0.rc0.git5.1.fc26.x86_64)
2.boot to desktop.
3. attempt to connect to access point, fails, wireless networking will not disable.

Actual results: kernel installs, boots to desktop, wifi fails to connect, wireless networking can not be disabled. Shutdown appears to produce kernel fault.

Expected results: full wireless networking functionality, including enable/disable. No kernal fault during shutdown.

Additional info: kernel-core-4.10.0-1.fc26.x86_64 functions normally.
