Currently, FC3 includes thunderbird-0.8.0-9 and FC3 updates includes
thunderbird-0.9-1.fc3. Are there any plans to release 1.0 as an update

I was just reading the release notes for 1.0.2 related to Fedora Core 3:
GNOME integration does not work properly with Fedora Core 3. Users of Fedora
Core 3 will need to download and install linc-1.0.3-3.1.i386.rpm. After

Thunderbird into (you will need write permission):
The next time you start Thunderbird, GNOME integration should be functional.
Will linc-1.0.3-3.1.i386.rpm be automatically included as a dependency when I
update Thunderbird via yum update?
What is the "normal" time period between the upstream version being released and
an rpm being available for yum?
