We can see the ldap groups that a user is part of and have assigned the role but the user is unable to login. Are you configuring this with External HTTPD Auth? If so can the user log into the appliance? Have you run the dbus-send commands to debug? does "id <username>" work?
Matt, The current configuration is using LDAP. HTTPD auth is not configured because the LDAP server account doesn't have "Domain Admin" permission to add the appliance to the domain.
