Hi Sunku,

Is there an update on this?

Best,
Pavan.

Comment 14 sunku ranganath 2019-02-01 11:47:15 UTC
There has been multiple discussions at Collectd Meetup on this topic. No solid outcome of how architecture should look like yet.
PR will be created when there is an agreement in the community.
Even if there is a PR, the target for this would be Collectd 6.0, which would be in 2020 timeframe.

Thanks

Comment 15 Pavan Chavva 2019-02-01 14:08:05 UTC
Moving out to OSP17 Which might align with collectd 6.0.

Comment 16 Pavan Chavva 2019-03-12 15:24:03 UTC
Hi ,

Based on the above feedback looks like this is targeted for 2020/collectd 6.0.

Let me know if we should close this and re-open this or create a new BZ in 2020 .

Best,
Pavan.

Comment 17 sunku ranganath 2019-03-12 19:04:21 UTC
Currently there is no coding work being done here. So if it makes sense we can close this now and reopen or keep pushing this out to 2020. :)

Comment 18 Pavan Chavva 2019-03-12 19:06:37 UTC
Great, thanks for the quick reply Sunku!

Closing this as this is targeted for 2020.
