Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
yes, this issue is fixed by the latest virt-who(virt-who-0.19-4.el7), but it's not shipped with satellite6.2.9, we need someone to sync the latest virt-who for SatTools repo.
The new virt-who package(virt-who-0.20.2-1.el6/7sat) is available in brew, but it's only for satellite-6.3, could we make it available for satellite-6.2 as well? because satellite6.2.11 is in progress.
Thanks.
virt-who testing for sat6.2.11 and sat6.3.0 are blocked by this BZ,
besides this BZ, there is another blocker issue #1463996 caused by virt-who-0.19,
I have run some basic testing with virt-who-0.20.2-1, both of the blocked issues are fixed already,
so in my opinion, virt-who-0.20.2 is the better choice.
As the customers can use the repo "rhel-6-server-satellite-tools-6.3-rpms" in RHEL6.9, thus "virt-who-0.20.4-1.el6sat.noarch.rpm" can be installed to fix this issue, so I marked it to verified.
if virt-who-0.20.4-1.el6sat is not available for rhel6.9, may be we need to re-open it again, Thanks.
