*NetworkManager* dropped dependency on dnsmasq
With this update, the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) support is moved to a separate optional _NetworkManager-ppp_ package and the dependency on dnsmasq is dropped. The users that require the functionality and do not use the package groups to install *NetworkManager* may need to adjust the Kickstart files.

Added the release note text. The comps change is tracked in bug #1451424. This likely won't require any changes to the NetworkManager package. I'm closing this. The related comps change I was asking for is tracked in bug #1451424 Dnsmasq is a dependency for OpenShift, without it the installation fails on Atomic Host. I would say that this is a rather important need, unless we are to modify the installer to install the package? Sebastian, bz1451424 was raised to handle this. I would suggest that you raise priority on that bug since it appears to be important for OpenShift. -Sushil |
