For https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/WorkstationOstree we don't want gcc on the host filesystem - devel tools should go in containers. Right now abrt-desktop requires gdb, which pulls in gcc among other things. I don't understand why abrt-desktop can't use gdb-headless?

Thank you for the bug report. I asked the GDB maintainer to split the package into the two to avoid pulling gcc by abrt-addon-ccpp (bug #1195005) but I forgot to update the dependency of abrt-desktop. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/YOE2YXC6H2VGZDBG4OXAR6Q5O3QEJ5RA/ https://github.com/abrt/abrt/commit/d23ebf4cf527ad07bd42b870a29159fb9944ef57 http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/abrt.git/tree/abrt.spec#n190 http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/abrt.git/tree/abrt.spec#n408 I hope you understand now. It is just a leftover. Sorry for the inconvenience!
