Description rhev-integ 2017-05-29 15:27:53 UTC
+++ This bug is a downstream clone. The original bug is: +++
+++   bug 1420345 +++
======================================================================

The new Basic User Portal / ovirt-web-ui can be enabled downstream as a Tech Preview in 4.1
the only thing needed is link on landing page and documentation

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1400569 +++

add the new web-ui to shipping of RHV, we may not expose it, but we do want to ship the dependency since it is included in upstream - easier than a downstream patch

I think we agreed on VM-Portal, so this should be fine now.

(Setting Rebase so I can get acks for errata tool)

Comment 12 Emma Heftman 2017-06-20 11:12:09 UTC
Moran, please confirm whether the name is VM-Portal as stated above, or VM Portal as appears in the doc text.
Grammatically speaking it does not need the hyphen

Comment 13 Emma Heftman 2017-06-20 11:24:24 UTC
Marek, can you clarify what you mean by Basic User Portal and Extended User Portal - these are not terms that we use in the documentation, so I need to understand what you mean. thanks!

Comment 14 Marek Libra 2017-06-21 07:48:49 UTC
According to 4.1 User portal documentation:

Basic User Portal - means the "Basic" tab in User Portal
Extended User portal - the "Extended" tab within User Portal

Comment 15 Lucie Leistnerova 2017-06-23 07:22:06 UTC
Link 'VM Portal (Tech Preview)' added to welcome page and works.

verified in ovirt-engine-4.1.3.5-0.1.el7.noarch
