update from 52.1.0-2.fc26 to 52.1.1-1.fc26 or setting up a clean thunderbird env under an other account doesn't help
bug is also (my fault :-( ) reported in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1443291 tried comment 5 (reset extension): no luck ! played with repeat/reminder options: I can confirm comment 4 that popup shows up once and only one time... but wait: clicking on the baseline of the boxes shows the missing popup's, always !
as of today this bug is gone ! thunderbird-52.2.0-1.fc26.x86_64 to be closed ?
