I added a flatpak repo (via the command line) not so long before this happened. Could that be related?

1434283, 1444262 and 1375895 are similar to this, they are all crashes between PackageKit's dnf backend and libdnf which happen in the same place in libdnf (repo_internalize_trigger), they just all get there in slightly different ways. It is possible that https://github.com/rpm-software-management/libdnf/pull/596 will fix all of these crashes; it kinda depends on whether the problem is that repo_internalize_trigger is getting called on a libsolv repo that doesn't exist, or whether the libsolv repo exists but its association to a hawkey repo is somehow lost, so the lookup of hrepo in repo_internalize_trigger fails. The problem is definitely one of those two things, but I at least am not certain which it is in each case.
If the error is what I think it is, it happens for me all the time when tab completion cannot find some command and package kit tries to install that package. However, some repositories are not available, because I am using Rawhide and they are available just for F28 so far. It might happen also when package kit tries to update package on the background and again, not all repositories are available for Rawhide.
Vit: if you can reproduce it that easily on current Rawhide, could you please do so and get a backtrace? That would be helpful. Thanks!
Note, I just tested on a clean recent Rawhide install (by setting up PackageKit-command-not-found and then trying to run 'nedit', which was not installed). Even though the fedora-cisco-openh264 repo is unavailable, and an error is shown on the console ("Failed to search for file: cannot update repo 'fedora-cisco-openh264' ..."), packagekit did not crash.
(In reply to Adam Williamson from comment #94) > Vit: if you can reproduce it that easily on current Rawhide, could you > please do so and get a backtrace? That would be helpful. Thanks! Sorry, I cannot reproduce it this way. So it must be something different :/

I believe that the most of issues were fixed in Fedora 29. Please if any new crashes appear on Fedora29+, please open a new bugzilla.
