Description of problem: gnome-weather-3.25.92-1.fc27.noarch needs a newer gjs (specifically one built with mozjs52) otherwise currently: (org.gnome.Weather.Application:1450): Gjs-CRITICAL **: JS ERROR: SyntaxError: class is a reserved identifier @ resource:///org/gnome/Weather/Application/js/app/currentLocationController.js:33 JS_EvaluateScript() failed Another way to "fix" it is to revert the two upstream patches modernizing the js class syntax.
We now have gjs 1.50.0 and I've bumped the minimum required version in gnome-weather accordingly.
