Description Daniele 2017-11-01 15:58:10 UTC
In the last month or so, two Italian customers have tested a SHE-VM Backup/Restore procedure (https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.1/html/self-hosted_engine_guide/sect-restoring_she_bkup#Restoring_the_Self-Hosted_Engine_Manager)and ended up with unclean environment. Often, for example, some hosts were not able to run the SHE-VM after the restore.
We addressed those cases in support but eventually had to create this KCS which addresses the issue:

https://access.redhat.com/node/3229561/

Customers expect for these use-cases to be properly tested and documented as, currently, the Backup/Restore procedure documented does not translate into something they can follow as a procedure and give to an operator to execute.
