missing yaboot.conf fixed in rawhide.

Are you sure this is *fixed*?

As I mentioned, I tried the rawhide tree dated march 21
and the error was still there.

I don't think the work around in 149081 from Cagney is
acceptable. (install mac OS X, ...)

Can you try a later boot.iso, usually if something is marked fixed, it takes a
day or so to hit rawhide. If it's still not working let me know and I'll debug
asap.

Tried boot.iso today (10383360 Mar 29 06:58 boot.iso). (BTW, the mac64 dir
was not there anymore, so I assumed it had been merged to the same mac dir).
The yaboot.conf seemed to be there, but still crashed on the G5 machine just
one step further.

error message looks like:
============================
...
Starting cpu /cpu/PowerPC,G5... Failed 00000000
Initializing fake screen: ATY, Whelk_A
Calling quiesce...
returning 0x01400000 from Prom_init
Invalid memory access at...
...
============================

Has anybody tried this on a powermac G5?

Thanks,
Dong
