Description of problem: Numa aware ksm state in file /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/merge_across_nodes is not affected by changing settings of Cluster (KSM per each NUMA nodes or KSM share NUMA nodes)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhvm-4.2.0-0.5.master.el7.noarch

How reproducible: 100 %


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set cluster with with NUMA aware KSM policy = KSM share NUMA nodes
2.Put active host to maintenance
3.Set cluster with with NUMA aware KSM policy = KSM per each NUMA nodes
4.Activate host

Actual results:
On each Host of the cluster file /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/merge_across_nodes always contains 1

Expected results:
On each Host of the cluster file /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/merge_across_nodes contains 0

Additional info: it is regression from 4.1

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.1 release, published on Feb 12th 2018.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.2.1 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
