Description
RHV bug bot
2018-03-07 08:26:33 UTC
I reproduced. There are 2 "clear / display" rows, one each for Events and Alerts. They should probably function independently. @Alexander, bug? (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) Could be a backend bug, the UI calls the clearAllCommand on the EventListModel for events, and clearAllCommand on the AlertListModel for the alerts. Once it goes to the backend I don't know what it does. I do know that Alerts and Events both share the same table, so its possible it executes the same command on the backend. (Originally by Alexander Wels) Moving to infra per Comment 2 (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) *** Bug 1539721 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) 4.1.9.2-0.1.el7 affected as well(not sure if you are aware) and this a regression bug. (Originally by Michael Burman) This bug report has Keywords: Regression or TestBlocker. Since no regressions or test blockers are allowed between releases, it is also being identified as a blocker for this release. Please resolve ASAP. (Originally by rule-engine) Eli, how severe is this one? (Originally by Martin Perina) (In reply to Michael Burman from comment #5) > 4.1.9.2-0.1.el7 affected as well(not sure if you are aware) and this a > regression bug. We haven't found any options in 4.1.9 how to remove all alerts, so could you please provide reproduction steps in 4.1? Verified on ovirt-engine-4.2.2.2-0.1.el7.noarch (Originally by Petr Matyas) Hi Martin, And what about a fix for 4.1?? i don't see any patches for 4.1. I honestly think this should be fixed on 4.1 as well. (Originally by Michael Burman) (In reply to Michael Burman from comment #12) > Hi Martin, > And what about a fix for 4.1?? i don't see any patches for 4.1. Right, sorry, I completely missed your comment and I've looked to Version field only where is no longer possible to enter 4.1 :-( (Originally by Martin Perina) This fix also finally fixes BZ1528812 Verified on ovirt-engine-4.1.10.3-0.1.el7.noarch Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
