If you dont immediately need the new version, this is not high priority for me at the moment. PRs of course, are always welcome.
Thanks for the response. No worries. Just making sure it's on someones radar

One or more of the new sources for this package are identical to the old sources. It's likely this package does not use the version macro in its Source URLs. If possible, please update the specfile to include the version macro in the Source URLs
Could you please finish the update at least to version 2.8.9? Your commit commit 91a84ebf380c206214dea4b56f53a60c87ee24c2 Author: Ankur Sinha (Ankur Sinha Gmail) <sanjay.ankur> Date: Thu Apr 11 13:48:37 2019 +0100 Update to 2.8.9: DOES NOT BUILD YET breaks the build, because the patch was not updated and it caused the following error: Patch #2 (0002-Increase-xslt-maxdepth.patch): patching file Utilities/doxygen/CMakeLists.txt Hunk #1 FAILED at 252. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file Utilities/doxygen/CMakeLists.txt.rej
If you've seen the discussion, each release requires a lot of work to update all the patches that we must carry. I've done all of this for the new version, and there's a PR waiting to be merged. We're waiting on another maintainer to update CharLS. I'm afraid I do not have the time to spend on rebasing patches for 2.8.9 when we'll update to 3.0.x anyway. If you can please poke the CharLS bug to move this along, that would be more useful.
Jitka, If this is urgent, please revert my commit and use epoch to build the package. I'm doing what I can to get CharLS updated, but I do not have an ETA on when it'll be done since I dont have rights on that package.
So, 3.0.1 fails on arches other than x86_64, i686. I've filed a bug upstream and will look into a temporary work around in the next few days. https://sourceforge.net/p/gdcm/bugs/487/
Built for f32 now.
