Description Radek Bíba 2018-05-16 07:02:56 UTC
Description of problem:
The rh-rhui-tools package contains the /usr/share/rh-rhua/rhui-debug.py file, which is used by the sos utility to collect diagnostic information about the RHUI installation. The support team may want the subscription sync log file in the future so they can troubleshoot the subscription sync feature when it doesn't work for a customer. Therefore, I suggest we include this log file.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rh-rhui-tools-3.0.3-3.el7ui

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install "sos" and run "sosreport" on a RHUA node.
2. Examine the contents of the created archive.

Actual results:
rhui-subscription-sync.log isn't collected

Expected results:
rhui-subscription-sync.log is collected

Additional info:
We might consider collecting /etc/rhui/registered_subscriptions.conf as well, but I don't know if it would be useful. OTOH, we probably shouldn't collect rhui-subscription-sync.conf as it contains sensitive information.

FWIW, /var/log/cron is already collected, so we don't need to worry about it in rhui-debug.py.
