Switch to X from wayland (or switch to nvidia proprietary module) 2. configure the display layout via xorg.conf, ensuring that the configured layout is different from what you have configured via mutter 3. Even though this bug is for Fedora I'm thinking the the final resolution of bug 1581806 might apply here or this is a duplicate of bug 1581806.
