Hi Byron, there will be an icon indication now in the UI next to a backup storage domain (right next to the status icon).

As for an event when changing a domain to a backup domain it will be too overkill, this is merely a database operation that can not fail (unless the DB is down in which case Engine won't work anyway), the update can fail in case there are running VMs with disks on the domain but in that case a clear error message will be displayed to the user about the failed operation and the reasons, in any other case - the operation will succeed.

verified on ovirt engine 4.3.2-0.1.

Webadmin Icon appears after changing SD to backup and disappears after changing SD back to normal SD.
