Description Sergej Chodarev 2005-07-03 13:00:18 EDT
Description of problem:
In sk_SK.UTF-8 Firefox doesn't display About dialog.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Firefox in slovak environment
2. In main menu select Pomocník -> O programe Mozilla Firefox

Actual Results:
Displayed window with error message:
Chyba počas spracovania XML: nedefinovaná entita Adresa:
chrome://browser/content/aboutDialog.xul Číslo riadku 30, Stĺpec 1:
  <label id="version" value="&aboutVersion; 1.0.4"/>

This can be translated as "Error while processing XML: undefined entity Address:
chrome://browser/content/aboutDialog.xul Line number 30, Column 1"

Expected Results: Display About dialog

Additional info:
I think problem is in sk-SK localization in file chrome/browser/aboutDialog.dtd
Line 3 should be
  <!ENTITY aboutVersion "verzia">
instead of
  <!ENTITY aboutVersion "verzia &version;">

This bug is fixed in newest version of slovak localization on

P.S. Sorry for posting this bug twice. I received some error message from the
server, so I pressed button again.

This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd.

Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and
either update the target product or close it ?

Comment 3 Sergej Chodarev 2007-01-22 08:01:56 EST
It seems that problem is solved in current RPM for FC6
(firefox- I don't have Fedora installed now, but this
RPM works in my distribution, so it should work also in Fedora.
