Description Patrik Novotný 2018-09-24 10:03:12 UTC
I intend to remove unmaintained minizip library (now packaged as minizip-compat) from the zlib package. Therefore, I'd need all dependent packages to either migrate to the new minizip[1] package or simply bundle the old one.

Fritzing's dependency has always been on quazip-qt5, and not on minizip itself, but a few years ago upstream apparently thought it was a necessary dependency for an system-provided quazip, and I apparently went along with it. :P

I've made a few adjustments to the spec in rawhide, and the direct dependency should be gone at this point (and I've opened #1634468 to fix a missing zlib-devel dependency that showed up in quazip-qt5-devel).
