Description of problem: Originally mentioned in comments of bug 1640701. The refresh button doesn't really refresh the repos due to a bug, that should be fixed here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/commit/4e3dd2e94917742b111bbf860d0059116de7c973 The existing workaround is either to wait a few days and let packagekit refresh the repos in the background, or run this command: $ pkcon refresh force Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-software-3.30.5-1.fc29
PackageKit-1.1.12-2.fc29, gnome-software-3.30.6-1.fc29, libappstream-glib-0.7.14-3.fc29 has been pushed to the Fedora 29 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates.
